Current Opening Times:
The museum will be closed from Friday 24th December until February 2022.
Please check back for exact re-opening date, which is currently under review.
There is normally a small admission charge to help meet the costs of daily overheads – without your support, the museum would struggle to survive – Thank you!

Keeping Safe from Covid:
When you visit you will notice that we have some measures in place to protect both you and our staff and volunteers:
1 – You don’t have to pre-book but we are limiting the number of visitors in the museum at any one time so we may ask you to wait a short while – you can enjoy a walk in our gardens, browse in the Small Planet fair trade shop or enjoy a snack at the Museum Coffee Shop whilst you wait.
2 – Please wear a face covering whilst inside the museum unless you are exempt from doing so.
3 – We provide sanitiser at the museum entrance; please sanitise your hands when you come in.
4 – We are required to collect contact details for every visitor to support the national Track and trace system. Please provide your details when asked to do so.
